St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, in the historic village of Lakefield, Ontario, is seeking a music director familiar with the Anglican liturgy and comfortable with a wide variety of sacred music styles, from classical to contemporary.  An electronic Phoenix organ was installed in 2005, and the congregation at St. John's includes several talented musicians (trained vocalists, organists, instrumentalists, a senior choir and a contemporary music group). The new music director will be asked to coordinate and build upon these musical strengths.  The congregation is committed to developing a strong music program for both the church and the wider community. This is an ideal position for a person willing to build an eclectic music program for a small, but dedicated, congregation.
